Outlines steps to migrate cloud flows into solutions within Power Automate, streamlining workflow management and facilitating transfer across environments or tenants effortlessly

Environments and Solutions play crucial roles in developing applications on Power Platform and it’s highly recommended to utilize them effectively.

In Power Platform, think of an Environment like a digital workspace, where you create and manage apps and data. And Solutions are like neatly packaged boxes containing all pieces of your app. This will make the solutions to easily move and share them between different workspaces.

For example, imaging you are building a customer management app. You’d work on it in your digital space and once it is ready you package it up as a solution, making it simple to share with your team or move it to a different workspace.

In this guide, we’ll explore how to transfer the non-solution attached workflow s into Solution-aware workflows.

  • Go to the Power Automate home page.
  • On the left side navigation menu, click on the “Solutions” option. If you don’t see it, click on “More” and then select “Solutions”.

  • In the Microsoft Power Automate Solution page, you’ll see a list of available solutions. Choose the solution where you want to move your workflow.

  • Click on the “Add” button at the bottom of the panel to add the selected cloud flow to the solution, along with the connection references.

  • You can now go back to the cloud flow and check the details page, where the associated solutions will be listed.

Having the flows in the solution males it easier to transfer them to difference environments and tenants.
